Safwan Sobhan: Safwan Sobhan is the Founder and Chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG). He is an entrepreneur and investor whose efforts have contributed to driving economic growth by creating jobs and fostering innovation. His steady work ethic and straightforward problem-solving approach have guided his success over the past 15 years. His practical mindset in facing challenges has supported the company’s expansion into more than 25 business, industrial, maritime, and manufacturing ventures. He promotes a sustainable business model that protects people and the environment while maintaining a focus on profitability. His leadership has earned him recognition, including the Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) of Bangladesh award, as well as other honors for his contributions. Sobhan was born in Bangladesh and spent part of his early life in the UK, where he attended Shiplake College in Oxfordshire, a school renowned for its emphasis on personal development and student care. In 2007, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business from American Intercontinental University.
